A 26ft carbon fiber pool pole is useful when shorter equipment leaves cleaning areas out of comfortable reach. Our Blackout Pro offers approximately 26 feet of maximum length in a four-section telescopic design, with three quick-release locks and a 16-hole metal pool-tool connector.
This guide covers the current Blackout Pro configuration and the checks to make before ordering. Match the pole to your pool, tools and storage space rather than assuming the longest available setting will be the right setting for every job.
The current Blackout Pro configuration
- Shaft: 3K carbon fiber construction with four telescopic sections.
- Listed maximum length: Approximately 26ft. Check the current product dimensions if storage or a specific reach requirement is critical.
- Adjustment: Three quick-release locks. Replacement quick-lock kits are sold separately.
- Working end: A metal connector with a 16-hole pattern incorporating attachment and drainage openings.
- Finish and handling: All-black hardware and a textured grip.
Those features are drawn from the current Blackout Pro product listing. Earlier standard-model photos and videos may show different clamp colors or a different connector. Use the current listing to identify the version you are purchasing, and ask about any specification you cannot confirm.
How much of that length will you use?
Map the farthest cleaning areas from stable positions around the deck. Surface skimming mainly calls for horizontal reach; brushing or vacuuming a deep floor also involves depth and angle. Keep enough pole in your hands to guide the attachment and follow the extension limits.
A 26ft pole does not provide 26ft of usable distance beyond the pool edge, nor does it cover every commercial pool from a single position. Reposition around the deck when needed. For close work, shorten the pole rather than keeping all four sections extended.
If your current shorter pole already reaches the work comfortably and remains in good condition, added maximum length may not improve the setup. Consider this model when the reach, adjustment system or available replacement locks solve a recurring problem.
Check the attachment, not just the diameter label
Blackout Pro’s connector is intended for standard pool cleaning tools. Check the exact net, brush or vacuum head you use: socket size, insertion depth and retaining-button engagement all matter. A battery-powered cleaner or proprietary head may have its own handle or adapter requirements.
Inspect clips and sockets for wear before fitting an attachment. Do not force an incompatible connection. Product photos illustrate the equipment, but a pictured net or brush is not automatically included with the pole. Confirm the package contents on the purchase page.
Plan for care and replacement parts
Quick-release locks still need correct adjustment and routine inspection. Rinse off grit, allow the equipment to drain and protect it from being crushed in storage. Stop using a pole with cracks, splinters, damaged fittings or an adjustment that slips. Follow the instructions supplied with the pole for maintenance.
Replacement quick-lock kits for our 26ft four-section poles are available separately in several colors. Confirm the kit’s compatibility and included hardware before ordering. A replaceable lock can be useful, but it does not repair a damaged carbon tube or make the pole indestructible.
Keep loads manageable, bring attachments closer before lifting and avoid levering the pole against coping. Carbon fiber conducts electricity; keep the equipment away from electrical hazards. Blackout Pro is pool-cleaning equipment and should not be treated as a rescue device.
