The Bestway AquaTech is a cordless pool vacuum supplied with a handle. Our 26ft Carbon Fiber Pool Pole is an adjustable handle for compatible cleaning attachments. They solve different parts of pool maintenance, so comparing them as two competing telescopic poles misses the most important distinction.
If you need a small self-contained vacuum for debris pickup, start with the vacuum’s specification. If you need greater reach for a net, brush or suitable vacuum head you already own, start with the pole. Buying a longer pole does not create suction, supply a motor or replace a vacuum’s filter and debris collection system.
Identify the AquaTech model first
For the older Flowclear AquaTech 58648, Bestway’s product page specifies eight AA batteries, a three-section adjustable handle and a transparent 0.65-liter debris container. It lists suitability for pools up to 3.05m, or 10ft, in diameter. The batteries are not included.
Bestway’s official service specification for 58648 lists overall product dimensions of 150 × 12.8 × 7.3cm. Those are complete-product dimensions, not a verified handle-only adjustment range. Do not treat a retailer’s different handle measurement as a confirmed specification without checking the exact version.
There is also a newer AquaTech 58770 listing with a 0.9-liter debris container. The shared AquaTech name does not make the two specifications interchangeable. Check the model number on your unit, packaging or manual before ordering batteries, parts or accessories.
What our carbon fiber pole provides
Our 26ft Carbon Fiber Pool Pole has four telescopic sections and three quick-release clamps. Its connection is intended for standard pool brushes, nets and vacuum heads, with compatibility checked for the particular tool. It is a pole purchase, so refer to the product page for included items rather than assuming a net or vacuum comes with it.

Can a longer pole be fitted to an AquaTech?
We have not verified manufacturer approval to replace the 58648’s supplied handle with our pole. Do not assume the connection is interchangeable because both products are used in pools. Check the exact vacuum manual and obtain model-specific compatibility information before trying another handle or adapter.
Handle fit also does not prove the vacuum is suitable for a larger pool, a different depth or a higher workload. A longer reach does not enlarge the debris container or change the manufacturer’s intended use. Avoid improvised fittings, drilled connections and any setup that is not supported by the product instructions.
Choose by the job you are trying to finish
- Small-pool spot vacuuming: Review the exact AquaTech model’s intended pool size, debris capacity, battery requirements and maintenance steps.
- Surface leaves: Choose a compatible skimmer or leaf rake and a pole that reaches the work from stable footing.
- Brushing: Select a brush suitable for the pool surface and confirm its attachment connection. A vacuum purchase does not automatically cover brushing.
- Manual vacuuming: Check the complete system: head, pole connection, hose and suction source where required. A pole alone is not a vacuum system.
- Several pools or awkward access: Measure the necessary working reach and consider the adjustment range, transport space and tool changes.
Make a fair value comparison
Compare complete setups, not just the price of a vacuum against the price of a handle. Include the attachments or consumables needed for your tasks, and read current product terms and package contents. Avoid assuming a battery-powered consumer vacuum and a long manual pole have identical workloads or identical included equipment.
This guide does not present a controlled performance comparison between our pole and the AquaTech, and a direct suction comparison would not make sense. Claims that our pole replaces the AquaTech motor, improves its pickup or is a guaranteed compatible handle would be misleading.
When our 26ft pole makes sense
Choose our carbon fiber pole if your goal is long-reach skimming, brushing or use with a verified compatible cleaning head. Its four sections and three quick-release clamps are the features to evaluate. Check your attachment and storage needs, use the shortest practical extension and keep the pole clear of electrical hazards.
For a self-contained vacuum, use the exact vacuum manufacturer’s guidance. For a long adjustable cleaning pole, our own-store page has the current specification, price and ordering details.
Our current Blackout Pro option
For our current all-black option, see the Blackout Pro 26ft (8m) Carbon Fiber Pool Pole. It has matte-black 3K carbon fiber, four telescopic sections, three all-black quick-release locks, a textured grip and a 16-hole metal tool connector. The standard pole pictured within this article is a different version. Check the Blackout Pro listing for current details and confirm your attachment fit before ordering.
